About This Event
The UNBC Chess Club is kicking off the January semester with an open chess tournament that anyone is welcome to join.
Date: January 16, 2026
Time: 1:00–2:30 PM
Location: UNBC, Room 5-154
🏆 Prizes:
• 1st place – $100
• 2nd place – $50
No rating requirements. All skill levels are welcome, whether you play casually or competitively. This tournament will take place during our first club meeting of the semester, and regular meetings will continue every other week at the same time and location.
